SaaS Development at a glance

SaaS development is the design and build of a software product sold by subscription over the internet, where many customer organisations share one platform while their data stays strictly separated. Kordevo builds SaaS products at a written quote against a written scope; the delivery date is set in the contract after scope approval, and the source code, admin panel and all accounts are handed over to you.

Why Choose Kordevo for SaaS Development?

01

Building a SaaS product is different from building a website or a portal for a single company. The same application serves many customer organisations, and each one's data must be kept strictly apart. That makes architecture the first real decision: a separate database per customer, a shared database with a tenant identifier, or isolation enforced at database level with PostgreSQL Row-Level Security? We choose together, based on your expected customer base, compliance requirements and budget, and record the reasoning in the written scope. If you need an internal tool used only by your own company, custom software development is usually the better starting point.

02

We recommend starting with an MVP. In the scope meeting we identify the core workflows that carry your value proposition and move everything else to a separate later list. Sign-up and onboarding, customer accounts with team invitations, role-based permissions, subscription plans and a basic admin panel go into the first release of most SaaS products. Cost depends on the number of modules, integrations, the complexity of the permission model and any data migration. For clearly scoped work you receive a written quote within 24 hours. If your product should include AI features, we place them on the same roadmap through our AI software development work.

03

Billing is the revenue engine of any SaaS. With Stripe Billing or Paddle we set up monthly and annual plans, free trials, upgrades and downgrades, usage-based pricing, automatic invoices and dunning for failed payments. If you sell across the EU, for example to customers in Germany or the Netherlands, we handle VAT and reverse-charge logic with the payment provider's tax tooling, or use a merchant-of-record model where that suits you better. Invoices from us can be issued in EUR or PLN.

04

Security and compliance are designed in from the start. Authentication, two-factor login and SSO (SAML/OIDC) for enterprise customers, audit logs, encrypted backups and API security aligned with OWASP guidance are part of the standard scope. For GDPR we plan the data processing agreement, retention periods and the flows that let users export or delete their data, and we offer hosting in an EU region by default. Connections to accounting, CRM or email tools are planned with our API and system integration approach.

05

Throughout the project you receive weekly progress reports and see a working build regularly. On delivery, the source code, admin panel, cloud and payment provider accounts are transferred to your company; nothing stays registered in our name. After launch we provide maintenance covering monitoring, security and dependency updates, performance work and new features, with scope and duration agreed in the contract. You talk to us in English, German or Polish via video call, phone or email.

What Drives the Cost of SaaS Development?

In SaaS projects, the scope of the first release and the architecture decisions shape the price most. Our quotes are built on these factors.

01

MVP scope

The number of modules and workflows in the first release; features moved to later releases directly affect the price.

02

Multi-tenant model

Shared database, Row-Level Security or a separate database per customer.

03

Subscriptions and billing

Number of plans, usage-based pricing, trials and tax rules.

04

Roles, permissions and SSO

The depth of the permission model and whether enterprise customers need single sign-on.

05

Integrations and migration

Third-party services, any mobile app and the transfer of existing data.

Consultancies, agencies and service companies across Europe that want to turn a repeatable process into a subscription product with predictable revenue.

03

Companies selling an internal tool

You built a tool for your own team and want to license it to others in your industry. We move it to a multi-tenant setup and migrate existing data carefully.

SaaS Development frequently asked questions about

Common questions about our process, scope, delivery timeline and way of working.

Cost is set by scope; there is no one-size package. The main drivers are the number of modules, the complexity of roles and permissions, billing and third-party integrations, whether you need a mobile app, and any data migration. In a free first call we clarify the scope together, and for clearly scoped work you receive a written, written quote within 24 hours.
